I know two people looking for (albeit) second had cars in their show room and the franchise insisting that they couldn't just buy them in cash there and then and insisted they were to take finance to secure the car.
It must make them more money.
Have read them refusing cash and insisting that finance is taken out on a number of cars recently.
Absolutely wild times when people don't see cash down as an incentive. It's all going to change before too long I guess.
Thanks. That's what I'd hoped. Would make sense to keep all ranges being issued
I'd probably take it with the Bose instead of delaying it further.
Be able to take the price down on that basis to cover the ever increasing interest rates lifting the monthly payment!
That'll be another ballache for me shortly then.
Been reading the last couple of pages with interest.
I've currently specced the Burmester option on my Turbo S.
Expecting to hear in Q1 about a build slot at least. At that point, I won't be able to spec (if things remain the same) that...
Lol, I actually looked up a KITT light option on YouTube to see if it was possible.
Doubt they'll be legal in the UK.
I'm going all black too. Had considered the Gentian Blue as the "exciting" option too but had my heart set on black and likely won't change it.
Do wonder about it being a bit...
Yup, Glasgow.
Rep has been decent keeping in touch (though he's the 4th contact I've had after another three left the business and they were all terrible) and he's apologetic about it all.
Let's hope it's here early Q2 2023.
Good luck with yours.
Got no news on mine from a Nov21 deposit.
Rep has been in touch a couple of times with email updates to say he's monitoring it but no news.
Latest was there's still no build slot and it'll be 3 months or so from that date all being well.
It's gonna be Q2 2023 at best now, I think.
That doesn't surprise me. Imagine a couple of London branches are part of that five.
Would imagine Glasgow is way down the list.
Hope your car comes round quickly then.
It might not be far off. I'm approaching a years wait on a Turbo S up north and the latest I was told was that it's going to be Q1 2023 at the earliest now. I've been in position 1 in the dealership queue since my deposit went down in November 2021.
Had my rep email today saying there was no...
I can understand the GTS as as slightly newer model in the line being a bit behind.
If I hit over 18 months without my dealer having had a Turbo S, even allowing for all the delays, I'm not gonna be smiling.
Before we put our deposit down in Nov21 (we were speaing to them in Sept / Oct)...
Is there any off-set against the sale value of it if you're buying another new one or will the tax break be done by then?
I've nearly got my head round the depreciation and how it works on the figures but if you buy another new one in 2025, does that help?
Trying to convince myslef when...
I ordered mine at the same time as you (Turbo S) and after originally being told May this year - (before the Ukraine stuff scuppered that) and then potentially October / November as a guess, they're now saying up to six months from now. It's very likely going to be Q1 in 2023 at best.
Just...
It's taking me all my effort not to just tell them to stick it.
If it wasn't for the implications to tax on our business and that being part of the reason for buying the car initially anyway, today would have been the final straw I reckon.
Lol, cheers on the heads up at Rybrook. At this point...
The thought about having had a better offer did enter my head but I'd dismissed it on the basis that given they're an absolute shambles, this is exactly the sort of thing you'd expect from them.
Since they were offering basically nothing at all in terms of discounts on the situation or even...
You're all gonna love this latest update...
So after the chat on the last few pages...
Spoke to the sales rep and one of the business managers on Friday about the 4S they'd offered me until the Turbo S finally arrives (now, likely, in 2023)
Asked about the minimum future value as G7SUM...
Spoke to them again today when the business manager called.
They can't guarantee a trade in value without a secured date of return (and that can't be known since the Turbo S arrival is unkown)
They said it's something they / other dealerships might well have done before but it would be based...

The only really obvious thing that I'd really want on that compared to what I'm getting with the Turbo (performance aside) is the...
Bit of movement then on my front by coincidence after my mini rant the other day...:giggle:
Dealer got in touch saying they've got a 4S potentially available as part of a cancelled order that I could have until the Turbo S becomes available.
It's a decent spec all things considered.
Reckon...
