That’s not a replacement rotor then that’s just a new braking system. It would be great if Essex or another company would produce these replacement rotors. Granted the market may not be huge for it right now.
In normal mode my turbo sedan is showing 309 at 100%. Just got it back from the dealer with the supposed J1.2 battery (not sure I believe that I have that battery though).
Plain and simple they have overpriced their entire model line ups. As a lover of Porsche I am out of buying their new cars. It’s not that I can’t afford them it’s I just don’t think they are worth their current MSRPs. No way is a base 911 worth more then a used Mac or Ferrari.
Well I have received my turbo back from the dealer with the supposed new battery. Don’t think it really is but they swear it is. So far after the dealer did three full drive cycles my range is indicated at 310miles in normal mode.
This may happen eventually but I don’t think anyone actually has had a gen 1.2 battery installed their Taycan by Porsche. Just went through this and while my dealer says it’s a 2025 pack I don’t believe it is.
Don’t think you will fit three car seats in it. Mine has a forward facing and rear facing in it and don’t see how a third would fit. My wife is very tiny and can’t fit between the two. I also have relatively small car seats not some of these behemoths that are out there.
Own one with rear wheel steer and have had spent a lot of time with Taycans that don’t have it. At the end of the day I am glad I have it but it’s not a deal breaker by any means. Still a fantastic car without the option. 99% of the time you won’t even notice it.
How big is your garage and what climate do you live in? I had this problem and had Porsche chase this all last summer. They replaced everything in the system and it would still happen. The cause is the charger gets too hot and fails.
In Porsches genius move they rely on the charger to reduce...
The new range is nice and allot better then the J1.1. My loaner 4S CT I have seen a maximum of 350 miles at 90% in normal mode. Best I have ever seen on my turbo sedan is 265 at 100. With that being said the extra range doesn’t add anything for me personally.
I have a 2020 turbo for sale on the boards that meets almost all your needs and is indeed a CPO for slightly more. It also has a brand new battery. There is a mark on the carfax but the previous owner just back the rear end into a small retaining wall. Just required a repaint of the bumper.
Believe my part number is 9J1915EX. Will know for sure later this week or next. Believe this is a gen 1 battery though dealer said it has all the 1.2 cells in it. So no clue. Have a feeling no one inside the dealer network is getting the 1.2 battery yet.
