Ah, that makes sense. I actually missed that the feet were highlighted in the icon.
So, all in all I don't think I see anything missing or added... which makes this extra weird. EDIT: Forgot about the three speeds. But, eh...
Nah, not really. They may at some point just have decided that tagging the UI version individually is superfluous.
SNAPSHOT is normally not just the build date, it means that you take a build of how the source was *at that point in time*, but specifically indicating that the source code is not...
Interesting. So apart from the "cooler/normal/warmer" option, it seems like it's more just consolidated?
Not sure I understand that "cooler/normal/warmer" anyway. I directly set the temperature for the zone after all. Unless it also affects how soon the set temperature is reached (e.g. I want...
Maybe. I believe the 070/092 encodes the region (because you and I both have 092, while @tchavei and the European-presenting PCM Simulator have 070), and that the second to last letter is an actual hardware revision (because my old Taycan has A, and you both have B).
Pure guesswork of course.
Oh, and also the fact that @tchavei's and the simulator's "Hardware" value are almost identical. That would be too great a coincidence.
But it's probably just the version or configuration of the overall "platform" or major things like that, the list of individual hardware modules would be crazy...
No, I've got the exact same software versions as you, the only thing that's different is the "Hardware" identifier (of which I don't know whether it's supposed to be a unique identifier per car, or whether it encodes various hardware versions; given that it's in the version screen, I suspect the...
Given that mine is a 2021, I now think you both have a newer interface, which is apparently tied to the hardware. Wonder why they changed it... Does that mean the actual A/C functionality changed? Presumably, because otherwise why have two different interfaces?
I was thinking maybe it's the 4 zone climate control, but I see that you, like me, have the "Rear" tab on the screen, so I assume we both have it, and that's not it...
Mine is in a menu, but your A/C view is very different from mine in general? Is that a Model Year thing? Not my picture, it's from a YouTube video, but identical:
That's expected for Porsches, though. The key was also always on the door side for all Porsches before. Legend says it's that racers could turn on the car while getting in.
Hmm, a bit unlikely. The car probably just uses 0 to 100 internally, even though the byte can represent more.
Slightly more likely (but still just a guess) is that it's set as -1, as an internal value for "not set", which becomes 255 when displayed as an unsigned integer. The glitch is then...
This looks like the exact same pen I got when I bought my (used) Boxster many years ago. It did not fit in the Boxster's pen holder as well. But it writes fine, I keep it in the arm rest.
And lose AC charging on that side you mean? Or is the idea that the NACS might actually fit in the place of only the DC portion of the CCS socket?
Because CCS has separate contacts for AC (where it becomes "just J1772") and for DC, and there are indeed different cables connected to that socket...
Yes: Use your brain, specifically the rational part of it that can override your emotions when they are a bad idea.
I fully get this. I was the same in my youth, until one day I actually followed a very rowdy driver through traffic on a freeway. The thing ended with a police car that happened...
