Those tactics are outlawed here. The dealer(acting as a finance broker) must pass on the deal from the finance company as it stands. There are many lawyers now inviting consumers to sue their dealer for miss-selling finance and claim compensation.
In terms of manufacturers subsidised rates...
Of course not. You can fund the car however you like. However Credit Unions in the UK are very different. You won’t find any that’ll finance a Porsche. Also it’s now illegal for dealers to charge higher interest rates to increase their profit margins.
To be fair though, you are in a completely different financial market with so many variables that are different, so your own experience in the states bears little resemblance to ours and vice versa.
It is the exact same camera as the Audi UTR which I have previously owned and is the reason I tell everyone not to buy it! For the price, it is an incredibly poor piece of kit.
Exactly the same boat as you. Original rate quoted was 7.9 and this went up to 10.9 from the end of this month. Two cars delayed and going through the business. Thankfully I took a cancelled order before the deadline.
The rate is controlled by VW Finance. The dealer has no power (or no desire)...
I know this is an older thread but I'm just reading it for the first time. You might have figured this out already but if not, a tip for the sports sound is to program it to the favourites button on the dash cluster (the diamond symbol) so that you can quickly turn it on in any drive mode...
I don't actually start with a minimum and I'm personally not a brand snob. I'm just highlighting that other than the drive-train these car's are at different price points, different build quality, different branding and different target demographics. If the Tesla was an ICE equipped car, no one...
The price point is actually a secondary consideration in my example. My point is that if a buyer is interested in paying more for a prestige brand, whether that's a car, a handbag or anything else, it's unlikely that they'll purchase a cheap brand instead.
I don't think anyone can argue that...
The Dacia Sandero is a small family hatchback that starts from £13,000. The Mercedes B Class is a small family hatchback that starts at £31,000. Both cars have internal combustion engines but it's unlikely that a person who is considering one, would also be in the market for the other. The only...
If you’re asking how to get the satellite view on the cluster, once in the map view you click the roller wheel in and a menu pops up allowing you to adjust the view to your liking. Satellite maps is just a check box on that menu.
Just installed my BlackVue 900 today. Just to add to the conversation about the BlackVue battery and people talking about worries regarding 12v battery drain by using parking mode….
1. The Porsche branded (heap of shit - don’t buy one) dashcam does not rely on a back-up battery.
2. The Audi...
My passenger door had a bad rattle that I cured today by taking the door card off and applying Noico sound deadening sheets to the back off it. Totally cured it. The door panel is incredibly easy to take off in comparison to other cars. Two screws and the thing lifts up and off.
Couple of...
It's not listed as a separate tariff on OVO. You download a separate app to your phone called Charge Anytime and set it up. Your account is then credited at the end of the month for any and all low-rate charging sessions that you do.
The upside with Octopus is that you get the reduced rate for...
It's not my intention to get into a circular debate here. You do what suits you best, but for the benefit of others reading this, the OVO tariff is available in Scotland. I'm in Glasgow.
Also, the app takes into account when you need your car ready, so there's no issue with it not reaching the...
