Maybe it’s me but I attribute near zero value to PCM or any other infotainment system. Give me manual vents, a backup cam, and a knob for drive modes and that’s about 99% of my PCM use case.
Using watches for comparison, clearly Rolex (of course AP and others too) don’t need to go digital...
Additional alternatives such as a phonekey will of course be a convenience but I don’t think it is any more secure than typical key fobs.

I really like the camera in my Taycan. I must be an outlier here but I find the guidelines to be very precise.
I’d say my number one wish is also manual vents. The next is the unnecessarily convoluted charging timer.
Planning to keep mine long term. I’m not bothered by range deterioration as I don’t drive more than 100 mi a day (and usually less than 20). I also have an ICE if I need to go on a road trip but the Taycan is so good I just hate driving ICE again. Probably more of a second car given the...
I find it simultaneously gimmicky and awesome. I don’t recall this option for FY23; is this new for the facelift or just something I overlooked?
In any case - congrats on the oak green. I’d certainly go for that if it was available.
Off topic; not that the Taycan has amazing UI graphics but something about the Cayenne here makes this very 90s-esque. I think it’s the gradient in the grey fill. I feel like I’m looking at Windows 95.
I can’t tell if this is just the old recalls or something new? In any case, I can’t believe OEMs continue to use LG cells when five OEMs using them are all reporting the same issue.

I recently drove the i5 e40 and the ICE 5 series at BMWs auto cross lite promo events. While it seemed like it’d be a cozy ride the, i5 didn’t hide its weight very well and handled significantly worse than the Taycan IMO. On the other hand the ICE 5 series felt noticeably more...
Update: dealer has had my car for two working days now and have no idea why the alarm keeps ringing. They called to say they had to reach out to Germany for direction. This is the first major problem I’ve had with the Taycan, but not boding well at all.
I just ran into an alarm issue this morning. The alarm rings the second I press the button to lock the car. I’ve turned off interior monitoring, double tap reset of pcm, and even just turning off/on the car and going for a spin. Nothing works. In fact I can’t even leave it unlocked because it...
I have a forward facing Britax and a booster. It’s a really tight fit just to reach into the middle to grab something from the car seat side. I can’t imagine how you could possibly squeeze in to strap your child into the middle rear seat even if you managed to install the seat! Especially if...
That doesn’t sound like the sport sound? I spec’d it on my build but rarely used it. I turned it on today to compare, but it sounds different to me. Is this an aftermarket mod?
