If you have a J1.1 you can't.
I work around by putting Ionity chargers in my favorites.
I plan my route via app and than put Ionity in my route.
I enjoy planning. If you don't, just let PCM do the job and watch out, your planned route does not have slow chargers planned.
I had this thpught on my Tesla Model Y once.
I was used to soft-close from the Model X and thinking of having them after-market on the Model Y.
I didn't execute because it was a pretty big job on doors and electric. Seemed to have to many sources for problems to me.
There is one thread here, where the pano got a crack.
Most certainly not from the roof bars but it was a question Porsche had...
Be sure, those roof bars are "allowed" on the Taycan or just don't tell Porsche...in case.
A lot of tweaks make the J1.2 a better EV.
Full charging speed at 15 degrees Celsius battery temp. instead of over 30, bigger batt. overall, better charging menu, better economy.
More than 300 kW charging peak, better curve...
Is it worth switching?
To me: no
Is it desirable? Yes of course.
I am...
Actually the original wheel for the GTS is the 20" Turbo s design rim, which imo belong to the 2 best 20" wheels on the Taycan.
But RS Spyders go very well as 21".
Quick & dirty: cheap
Prepared and with more time: better price
Invest some time describing the car correctly than.
Right now, description is ok, but rather rudimental.
Yes, I know.
But seemingly protocols do not necessarily work in every direction.
Just WHO is really in charge (charger/ car) making it work does not seem to be regulated in legal ways.
One would expect that, yes!
I think though, there is no legal liability one could claim.
Thus it is easy for each side to blame the other and leaving us like a fish lying dry.
I agree on the one hand. On the other hand it is the bigger picture.
At some point EV-manufacturers should agree on mutual common standards. In charging communications.
That settled, and one could easily hold Porsche accountable for not holding those standards.
Winning a Porsche is quite desirable for a great part of society.
Even a used one.
If OP gains money from it and someone else gets a Taycan for a good price, it's always a win/ win...
Taste cannot truly be debated.
Do as you like.
I'm keeping my Turbo S "original".
I admit I was thinking about restyling to Turbonit.
That would include all emblems in Turbonit.
I don't really hear a difference between Carplay and "native" Apple Music out of PCM.
But yet, I might not be a "reference audiophile"
I like the boombang from the Burmester maintaining sound balance at every volume
