Yes, those are Satin Platinum. You can see how dark they look from the configurator in my profile pic, but there's plenty of videos with cars that have them, and they aren't that dark.

I took the trip 2 days after delivery, so I don't think you need to drive around to change the power usage. (it will fix the range estimator though). Note that it was generally above 80F outside for most the trip too.
I averaged under 340Wh/mi for my SJ to Vegas and back trip, which was >1000mi. Most the trip was at 75mph in Range mode. This is with Mission-E wheels.

It's not so much trusting the car, it's trusting the chargers will be functional when you get there. I was pretty conservative on my recent SJ-Vegas trip. The car charges pretty fast anyway, so an extra stop wasn't a big deal.

I drove from Sunnyvale to Vegas on Saturday, and had zero problems with the 4 EA stations I used (1 is when I got here). I used the Charging NA app with no problems on all of them too. Will post pics of me and another Taycan charging in Barstow :D
And most the new folks will be gone when some new shiny EV comes along, because they were more interested in EVs than Porsches, as this forum is a strong demonstration of.
The Macan EV will be more of a mass-market brand ambassador than a luxury sedan will be. Look at the sales number...
