I expect the difference to be around $30k in the US, given putting decent options on the Porsche, vs the Audi. What you get standard in an Audi is generally a lot better in the US. Look at Macan GTS vs. SQ5 for example.
There will just be more options available for Porsche.
The right "pod" in the driver's display has one of the screens called "Information" that screen can be configured to have one of the lines in it display battery temp. I believe mine did that by default.
What do you consider a "decent" charge rate?
The times you use ACC is times you should't be doing "spirited driving" anyway. Having PID on a long trip was pretty great, especially since it's quicker to just set a speed at like 75 or 70 than trying to sneak along as quickly as possible with traffic (as using less battery = spending less...
When I got my wife's Bolt in 2017 I looked at switching to a TOU plan, and it'd be a terrible idea, even with her driving an 80mi round trip commute daily. It's nice to have a smart meter and be able to download an excel sheet and run the actual numbers between plans.
The takeaway is unless...
I can see hating on Lane Keep Assist (I always turned that annoying thing off on the Macan), but LCA is just some lights in the mirror, and I always found it useful.
Meh, I liked both of my R8's more than any similar 911. Then the Mk2 didn't have a manual. :/
I also miss my B7 RS4, but there wont ever be another car like that again.
The default NEMA 14-50 is what you want, unless you already have something installed. If you follow code and have a 50A circuit installed, you'll be fine, no matter what you plug into it.
The Taycan is only priced against other Porsche models, as that's the measuring stick. The pricing is similar to Panamera, so it's not like the Taycan deviates much from Porsche's successful formula.
We just have a bunch of Tesla refugees here now, but they'll be gone once some other...
I've driven that route many times, it's not particularly scenic, other than on 152, and a bit on 58, maybe. Mostly it's desert. I-15 is mostly a straight line, which has been fun in the past for some serious high speed runs. (I followed a Ferrari, and an M5 hauling ass there once back when I...
I'd have to go look, but it'd be whatever everyone else in the US got on the 21" wheels that didn't get a Turbo S. Can't option summer tires on the Turbo
If there's only a $15k difference between each "tier", then I'd guess you are giving up a bunch of options for each "step". I think I'd be more interested in what options are on the car than what model.
The Turbo S has PCCB and that's an anti-option for me, so I'd stick with the Turbo. But...
