Not in my case, we have a variable hour rate, where the price differs any of the 24h.
a set timer then limits the window of possible charging. Where prices outside that window might be cheaper that day. I don’t set timers every day. My settings need to be “set and forget”
charge whenever the HEM...
I feel a lot of topics are confused here
- AC charging (for most of us this means at home)
- You charge smart (HEM via API) or direct
- Slider% caps maximum charge
- the timer settings are only used if you don’t have a HEM and need to set a charging window manually. They have nothing...
Ignoring all the timer advises here, doing what the Porsche guy said in his video:
-delete all profiles and timers
- put standard profile on 85%
- enable optimized charging
Charging stops @ 85%, can leave cable in, have left cable in for another 5 hours, it did NOT continue charging to 100%...
My Merc W213 rear cam used to have a red line drawn in the main view, which was about 50cm from the bumper. I could trust that line and align to it 100% always being save. I miss that on the Taycan, especially with the fish-eye view things approach faster than the screen makes you think.
It’s cosmetics, it doesn’t render a full 3D view (which is to be expected) in interpolates the blind spots. I don’t have a problem with that, but one should be aware (this is my 3rd 360 camera on a car, so I’m used to it now)
70F (21c) is perfect? My airco temp is always on 21c, I don’t like my car feeling like a fridge, just a few degrees offset from outside temp works best. And then have the airco thermostate itself figure out how hard it needs to work.
I like the software being basic (using the fitcamx branded software) no BS about cloud syncing just live view and accessing the SD card and park sensitivity settings.
So I’m really happy. Today I’ll try to glue the broken hooks from the previous owner, otherwise I order a new middle panel. It’s...
Maybe he had an fitcamx too and removed for resale?
maybe there was a repair? I dunno.
But I removed the front cap by removing the mirror, after that it was very simple just to squeeze the middle panel part between thumb and index finger and they are separated. The locking hooks left and right...
So the previous owner already removed the cover and broke the pins
the evidence is in the breaking marks.
long story short I need to order a new middle panel and Porsche wants €48!!! Euro for it.
but now I’ve seen the breaking mark I cannot unsee it, even if it’s out of sight.
but then all...
Same here, but the car is that big that most of the spots don’t fit anyway, or leaving one space open you will have the obese shopper mum, squeezing in, with the 15 year old Polo denting your door. And scraping your bumper while at it.
walked away for a bit, the front is now connected snug. The middle part, slips in on the bottom but is just a bit less wide on the top, near the window and because of that it doesn’t hold the lock And recesses a few mm
any thoughts on how to fix that?
in hindsight:
big panel off > easy
turn...
So got it connected and it works, but for the love of god, I can’t get it to click on the socket and slide into the middle piece. It sort of hangs loose one the metal socket and does not secure?
any tips?
