Let's not conflate Tesla engineering with Elon. Elon didn't found Tesla. He got in as an investor and creeped in as CEO, but he wasn't and will never be a Tesla founder.
Props to Tesla for making EVs cool, and causing the industry to react to it. When I hear leaks or testimonies of people who...
I would be interested about what you're hearing. From what I hear, the PCM updates will be possible. But the drive train / battery thermal management software updates are TBD.
Given the amount of investigations against Tesla Autopilot crashes, I’m skeptical that regulators will be allowing such a car without a steering wheel solely relying on a vision-based system to hit the roads in 2023.
I’m willing to bet quite a bit against it.
When updating the "old" My Porsche app today on iOS, I was prompted to download the redesigned "My Porsche", which is getting merged I believe with the Porsche Connect app.
Unfortunately, for those still waiting their vehicles, the status of the production of the vehicle isn't as prominent in...
Interesting stuff going on with Tesla's battery supply chain. They have recently been pushing out more cars with those Iron-based batteries (Standard Range). Cybertruck and Semi always had been dependent on their high nickel batteries, which have not yet showed any sign of production-readiness...
Related, I'm curious about real world range (from InsideEVs, Bjorn or someone used to making consistent range tests) of the CT 4.

the more expensive specs look like worse deals ...
Porsche is teasing an announcement they will be doing on September 6th at 3PM CET.
For those who have a YouTube account, you can set a reminder to get a notification when the feed is live.
As @Swissbob mentioned, the charger at Porsche Centre's are usually available.
(Only one I have experience with is Lausanne/Crissier)
Switzerland has also some other chargers (eg. EVPass) which show up in the Porsche Charging app and roaming is typically supported. That said, I recommend...
Would be interesting to push them a bit on the drive train software updates because either he knows something Porsche in Zuffenhausen doesn't know, or he's not telling you the whole truth.
Are you sure about this? Because I asked Porsche HQ about this and they said that models already produced would get the PCM update after a visit at the dealership but that they had not determined yet if the drive train updates (thermal management of the battery + electronic de-coupling changes)...
