Not exactly the most artsy location and not my video but...
I got served a random exotic car page on Instagram last night. Scrolled down their feed for a second...
... and found myself driving up I-85 🤯
I'm sorry to hear that 😕. See if they can at least get the tests run (of they haven't already) to determine the parts to order. That took a while for me. Hoping they get you taken care of quickly.
Sorry to hear that 😕
From my own observations-
The diagnostic procedure seems like it can go quickly or take a few days. Seems anecdotally like waiting on parts is biggest variable. The repairs (if it goes correctly the first time) were about a week with testing procedures. There is all sorts of...
Straight to red on start up for me each time. The first time I had it towed in. That took 2.5hrs, and by the time the tow truck arrived the error was gone. Dealer didn't see any issues. A week or so later it came back. A Left it for 35 minutes and it cleared itself and I drove home. It started...
Interesting idea. On the surface I like it. Would be nice if they also extended any of the paid or perk offerings. EA charging, the Porsche subscription, etc.
That last bit times 100.
Thanks. I know your saga was rough as well. Just have to add that I've appreciated your posts on the forum here in general. Thanks for adding something to the community while I sit here grumpy!
Dealer today said no updates to report. PCNA emailed to say they've been in contact with the dealer and been told a week and a half ETA. No idea what to believe. If all PCNA is going to do is check on progress then what use is a customer support line? Swap it for an AI agent and update the...
Cheers. Hoping not to be a jerk, and I know the Service folks are just stuck in the middle to a large extent.
In talking to the SA about pack replacement he said Porsche dictates the repairs based on the diagnostic results. Which makes sense with warranty issues. Part of the reasoning for the...
Ranting/venting. Feel free to skip.
Jan 14th the error returned, Porsche thought it was "leftover" from the Fall service (and no, that's not how that works). Error returned a week after it was "cleared". Car went in again on Feb 10th. Diagnosis was two more modules needed replacing. Parts...
The process has been for the technician to run diagnostics on the battery, send the info to Porsche, and let Porsche tell them what the approved path is. At least that's how it's been for me twice now.
@LonePalmBJ hope you're getting better news. Just got word that best case is another month. SA is really good with comms, up front and willing to give an honest assessment, and generally just a good person to work with. So when he says another month+ I'm inclined to believe him. Still though...
Glad there is an update. I just got a notice that climate conditioning finished just now, which is either moving my car out of the way, or starting to get ready for the work. Hoping for an update soon based on that notification.
Curious which dealer you're servicing at. I'm around the corner from you if the bio is accurate. My 23 GTS ST went in this past Tuesday for the second time in five months for module replacements. Electric Macan for wheels while I wait.
Well, two months after getting the car back I woke up to the red circle of death again. Seems I must have shifted into BRICK mode by accident 🤷♂️. Did the whole turn it off and back on thing and it did clear after some time. Schedule for next Friday to take it in. It's not clear right now what...
2 months 1 day and 1800 miles in a Macan later I have my car back. Service Advisor has been great I have to say. Six modules were replaced. 1.5 pages of parts, 2.5 pages of detailed notes from the technician performing the work. Looking for any excuse to go for a drive!!
