Since we’re in the same neighborhood, that makes sense! I’m really hoping to see you sometime so I can finally see Frozen Berry in person.
We can meet up one day! Sounds great

and actually… I have also never seen a frozenberry in person! She arrives tomorrow. Finally!!

I live at the other end of the Coachella Valley (LaQuinta) and there are a decent number of Taycans around. One on my street, as a matter of fact of fact.
I will be staying in La Quinta area

I'm driving down to LA area (Palm Springs) next week. I recall two years ago, it was the land of the Taycans. I'm looking forward to seeing unique Taycans there.

Not looking forward to the charging queues, hopefully they got better, and I'll likely start paying for charging at EVgo and Rivian if it means I don't have to queue
While I do not have a Taycan (yet), when I go on a road trip, I always sign up for the Tesla Charging membership. I have a Rivian and the Tesla SC is far superior than anything else. Not only there are more stations, there are more charing terminals at an every station than anyone else. I cancel the membership after the road trip. the cost is much less than Rivian's or EA's charging rate, if you have the membership.

The best thing is never having to wait for an open terminal to charge.

I don't daily drive the Taycan, and only take it out on weekends to drive the family around. Living in SF, CA, Taycans are actually a rare car compared to SoCal and SF Peninsula areas. On my last two extensive drives I noticed an unusually high number of Taycans. It's probably all related to the good weather we're having, but have anyone else noticed an uptick of Taycan sightings in general?
It could also be the Matrix you live in having resource problems due to all the AI emulation in your area, so it is now in need of its own context optimization, and since you have a Taycan, that has to be loaded and resident in matrix cache, so the Matrix might as well reuse it for surrounding cars. No different than a computer game short on memory, it's just the game you live in. ;)

I live in the Porsche heart of the Netherlands ( my village is where the primary Porsche center and importer is) and I have never seen a Taycan irl outside the showroom!
Guess they are pretty rare here. Cayennes on almost every corner and 911s a lot as well… never anything else Porsche wise! Strange….
I'm living in the east part of the Netherlands and here I've seen quite a few.
Because I'm always in the car myself I stare at them cuz they look so cool irl.
Strangely, I spot more Taycans when I'm on my bicycle...

I just had an opposite experience. I drove down to Bellevue, WA, where I usually come across a Taycan or a few in a single trip (rarely a CT/ST, but a bunch of sedans). Not a single one this time! A sea of Teslas (mostly model 3/Y) - there was always a lot of those there but I think they actually increased their market share there in the past year or two, saw a Panamera and a couple of Macans (ICE), but no Taycans this time.

It appears the Sports Turismo is the rarest body variant based on observations.

I've only seen 1 since my ownership in the last 1.5 years. In US the ST is only available on GTS trim which was available starting 2022, and probably contributes to it's rarity, as EV sales slowed in 2023.

I'm guessing the Turbo GT is the rarest trim to spot.

There are a ton of Taycan in the San Francisco bay area, but you don't often see them on the road, outside of certain areas and certain times of day (commute time).

That said, I counted seven in the SFO hourly parking lot on Friday of last week, versus just two 911s.

i posted in another thread about how i never see Taycans in my area. I still have to explain to some people what it is.

I've probably seen 2 this year, and 1 happened to be at the track last weekend lol. A guy brought his Turbo S out to put it through it's paces for some laps.

Maybe one of, if not the most common EVs on the road around where I live.

Have always been popular, right from first release, due to the company tax breaks.

When I bought mine Porsche Wilmslow said over 90% were corporate purchases.

Same here, though I don't see so many around now- wonder where all the ones coming off lease have gone (there's no longer a wall of them filling the parking spaces at my local Porsche centre).
EV Macans are conspicuous by their absence- I've only spotted 1, but they are pretty anonymous in the grey sea of SUVs.

I’ve been wondering the same thing! I see about four or five on the daily in North Atlanta/Buckhead - granted I am looking for them. A few times a week I will pull into a parking lot with at least one other. Almost always white, chalk or black. Still a huge treat to see ones in color or a CT/ST. Passed my doppelgänger on the road a few days ago. Never thought I’d see one!
Carmine Red ST between North OTP and O4W area would probably be me. ... Well it will be again when it is back from battery repairs 🫤
