I got the nerfing from 11 kWs to 9.6 kws on my 2020 when i downloaded the software update in the last few days. But i am still drawing 9.6 kws. Pissed about that.

My 2020 Taycan has finally been throttled back from an 11 kW draw to a 9.6 kW draw. i downloaded belatedly the software update that messed up the better charging. Am i aggravated, you betcha. But I have evened the score with Porsche. Details to follow

From my experience with my ‘20 Taycan, it draws just over 11 from the charger and reports between 10.3-10.5 in the car. by my math thats very efficient.

i will reinforce the theme that Porsche does not appear to be ready for this 21st century EV/software world. But equally I think PAG Is unable to support the Taycan model with aftermarket parts and software support. Its why my ‘25 Taycan had extended periods in the shop on multiple occasions.
