  1. Porsche Ordered to Buy Back Taycan That Charged at 9.6 kW, Not 11 kW

the buyback price is mandated by the rules. FMV is not part of the math.
  2. Porsche Ordered to Buy Back Taycan That Charged at 9.6 kW, Not 11 kW

I was in it for the long haul. it is over and done.
  3. Porsche Ordered to Buy Back Taycan That Charged at 9.6 kW, Not 11 kW

So I parted with my 2025 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo today, selling it back to Porsche as a result of an arbitration award issued under a system that operates in most Canadian provinces called CAMVAP (the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan). For those unfamiliar with CAMVAP, it is an...
  4. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

    :surprised:
  5. 19.2Kwh downgrade to 11Kwh

I got the nerfing from 11 kWs to 9.6 kws on my 2020 when i downloaded the software update in the last few days. But i am still drawing 9.6 kws. Pissed about that.
  6. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

My 2020 Taycan has finally been throttled back from an 11 kW draw to a 9.6 kW draw. i downloaded belatedly the software update that messed up the better charging. Am i aggravated, you betcha. But I have evened the score with Porsche. Details to follow
  7. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

Not sure how many of you use the My Porsche App and know about the "garage" tab (upper right corner on my version of the app where you see an icon of a car in a garage) but I noticed today that Porsche has finally cleansed my car's charging specifications to eliminate the reference to the 11 kW...
  8. Bahama Yellow PTS 4S. Now detailed and PPF'd

I am not sure I would have the courage to do that spec, but having seen it in these photos, I sure hope I get to that place of confidence. Absolutely stunning. Well done.
  9. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

From my experience with my ‘20 Taycan, it draws just over 11 from the charger and reports between 10.3-10.5 in the car. by my math thats very efficient.
  10. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

As an owner of both a ‘20 and a ‘25, i would say that there are performance improvements in the second generation but the ownership experience has been at least as disappointing. in some respects more so. My J1.1 at least for now still charges at the higher 11 kW draw rate and aside from a...

i guess i am not invited for that beer now that things have changed.
  12. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

here is what i have filed as part of a complaint against Porsche on this issue.
  13. I Have Features Missing From Build Sheet!

in my ‘25 ct 4s i have all these toys. I like the 3d parking but have really used it only a couple of times. the matrix headlights though are updated i believe in my 25 with more leds than in prefacelift taycans. and the system is actually amazing. full brights remain on but focused away from...

  17. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

i have a ChargePoint flex 50 amp charger on a 70 amp circuit so I’m pretty sure charging capacity is not the issue. I also own, in addition to my model year25 Taycan, a model year 20 Taycan and on that car I can get the same type of results as you are quoting. Nope this is purely a Porsche...
  18. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

in canada, we have some alternatives to test Porsche’s ability to “nerf” my spec’ed 11kW charging rate. I am somewhat advanced in challenging them on this. I plan on sharing with the forum a more complete report on my success or failure in doing this. Needless to say, I am frustrated by their...
  19. Level 2 charging rate with a 50 amp capacity

For anyone who is still interested, I am pressing Porsche to deliver on my specs of an 11 kw charging capability. While they tried to claim that my configuration was only for a 9.6 kw OBC, at least in Canada, that was not the spec for all of the MY25 Taycans and for much of the MY26 Taycans...
  20. Porsche subscription services are a joke

i will reinforce the theme that Porsche does not appear to be ready for this 21st century EV/software world. But equally I think PAG Is unable to support the Taycan model with aftermarket parts and software support. Its why my ‘25 Taycan had extended periods in the shop on multiple occasions.
