Don't forget to take into consideration that you can have Michelin Pilot Sport 4 NF0 for 20"s, but not for 21"s. Just a combination of non-N rated fronts and 911 or Tesla rears PS4S.
You can see the regular headlight inside the clear cover.
Also, if you put a black vynil wrap over a regular(or sport design?) bumper, it should end up like this.
Yes, we do have the same in Europe. But as I'm one of the early adopters, that waited 2,5 years with a 25k down payment for a MY20 that will only get Android Auto next week (hopefully), I prefer to have the phone out to use Waze. But I'll give it a try. It's worth the experience.
The available PS4S are not for the Taycan. You can see the rear ones are NA0 (911) and the front ones T0 (Tesla). They might have different belts and rubber, for different requisites (rolling resistance, weight distribution, ...), so they might work well or not.
On the Macan, the PS4 SUV work...
Do you think I should use double sided tape or will it be better to use velcro for repeated use? 😉
The toll tag works perfectly, but the phone doesn't.
It reduces a lot of heat. When the car is parked under the sun you can notice clearly the difference between two otherwise similar cars.
I don't like that mobile phone reception is a lot worse (and my commute has 3 zones where the call drops, whereas in other cars it might not drop at all, or...
I used to be fine with just the profile. But now it says that it will be ready tomorrow at the end of the preferred time, and keeps "waiting". I even created a timer to see if it would start, but no luck.
I understand the purpose of "optimized", but when you don't limit the supply it will only rely on the target %. What stopped working is the "Preferred charging time".
I didn't need a timer before. Meanwhile I found another thread with issues with another chargers, and that might be the issue...
It all depends (or it did depend) on which option you chose: optimized or preferred time of charging. If you put it in optimized, it will charge till the minimum amount of charging (eg: 50%). If you put it in Preferred time of charging, it will charge at that time, but with no limit.
It worked...
With the ceramic coating it may resist more. And you don't need to press it with your fingers. A slight brush with the back of the hand still closes/opens the car (sometimes, at least, as the keyless is less than perfect).
That's a nice story. Are you sure you should sell it? I went the other way. I bought a E39 M5 to pair with the Taycan. For long trips I don't want to depend on the charging network, and a manual V8 will always be a good palate cleanser. Even if slower than the T4S.
Yes, but I justified the trade as "that way you'll be comfortable, I'll choose the same seats as the loaner we had"... And if you go 14 way, you can't have the GTS interior, just the leather-free (with fabric in the middle).
