My charging setup is using a geberal profile with «optimized» setting, along with my electricity provider’s (Tibber) app.

However, when I plug my car in, a charge timer for 7 AM daily pops up in My Porsche. If I delete the timer, it reappears the next time I plug in.

According to Tibber, this is not something initiated from their end. And the target SoC doesn’t match the Tibber settings anyway.

Thoughts on what’s going on here?

What EVSE are you using?

When using a 3rd party app best to not set any timer or profile in the car (or app) on the basis that conflicts may arise.

So either use the Tibber app in 'dumb' mode or disable all profiles and timers.

Remember also that the car performs and controls the charging session (actual AC and DC charger is physically in the car) - your EVSE doesn't.

Is there a reason you can't programme what you need via My Porsche App?

Appreciate you are probably using Tibber for more things than controlling power to your EVSE.

I’m using the charging infrastructure of the apartment complex I live in, and there is no access to smart management functions on the EVSE.

The reason for using the Tibber app is that they provide a plugin that automatically pauses your charging sessions in high tarif periods
