I tried to search for my previous posts on this topic, but I’ve drawn a blank…
I have a 22kw tethered Zappi charger (we have 3-phase electricity), but most of the time I just plug in on 1 phase at a rate of around 4.7kw, depending on what power the house is using. When the weather is better, the car takes power from the solar panels or Tesla powerwall, where available.
I had tried to set a timer at 85% charge level for 6:45am so that the car was ready and pre-conditioned when I leave for work. When I went to bed, the car had 69% charge, so plenty of opportunity for it to be charged at the appropriate level 8 hours later.
However, when I woke up, the car only had 71% charge (2% charge had been added at around 3am WTF?) and charging was paused.
is there an obvious reason why this isn’t working?
