“Pre-Climate Complete”

Hey all, new Taycan owner (2021 4S). I am regularly getting pop up notifications on the app that say “pre-climate complete” even though I haven’t turned on the pre-climate function. Is this common? I wonder if it’s just happening because the temperature in the car happens to match the last pre-climate setting. But it’s a bit disturbing because I’d hate if it were wasting a lot of battery heating the car on phantom pre-climate requests.

It probably happens because you have it set to preheat the car with the keyfob! If you open it (but dont drive it) it will preheat for I believe it was 5 minutes.
You can change the setting for this in the climate page under precool/h.
I would personally leave it on .

Thanks! It is an incredible car. I have had a 996 Turbo and a 997 C2S, and they both were great, but the Taycan blows them away. The acceleration is just amazing, I can’t even imagine what the Turbo S is like, and I think I’d be too scared to find out

Exactly that as other poster noted. You have Pre-Condition enabled upon Unlock.
Not a useful feature to me, so I have it turned off.
