If this car checks all your boxes and you can get a great deal on it, go for it. MY 2025 is too new to get amazing deals on, it has a higher MSRP, plus typically if you are doing a custom order you are not going to get the same discount as a stock car that's been sitting on the lot for a while. Personally, if it was me shopping right now, I'd go 2024 if I found one with all the options I want, get a great deal on it. 2025 has a few advantages, but nothing earth shattering (at least for me), but it carries a price premium (both in less discounts as well as higher MSRP).I see the wisdom in your argument. In fact, I have found a 2024 GTS on the lot that is loaded to the gills with options. It is listed at the same price as MSRP for the 2025 4S I configured. I could be happy with this car. I am retired so range is not a big deal to me. This is a fun car and I have a charger at home. Stay tuned. I am going to meet with the sales guy. If I can get a good discount, there may be a deal here.

I have a 2023 so might be a little but biased, but was thinking to myself, if my car was totaled, would I buy a new 2025 or a new 2024 and my answer still stands, as long as I could find a great deal on 2024 with all the options I want, that would be the car I would replace it with. I also prefer no powered charge port (and therefore no fake vents) but that's probably just me.
