Select the display by selecting the middle tube and then roll the wheel on the steering wheel to display ACC. Beyond this, as mentioned, there are coloured icons denoting ACC status - active (green) or passive (grey).

Check the Owner's Manual for a full description of what these icons mean.

many thanks - I will try that today and report back - I also have a Macan S ice and the acc display stays on in that car on right hand tube.

Rather important to keep an eye on it remaining green so you know it is still switched on ..... sometimes it can drop out in which case you have to be in full control. My BMW gives a warning when it disengages but I think the Porsche one just stops working with no audible sound.
