Allocation Secured (Taycan 4S)

Hello everyone! First post on the forums and quite excited to own a Taycan.

I secured a May allocation for a 4S that’s heavily specced and was curious how long it’ll take to receive the car. I’m in the UAE and the allocation is from Porsche AD. Just wanted to see if there are others getting allocations this month as well and what the expected delivery dates look like given the current circumstances.

Even my order has gone from ABU DHABI UAE showroom, on March 20 and allocation was same march only.
Now it's under production.
Hopefully, I should get the car in June sometime.


From what I heard, May allocations are still not open and they might get pushed a bit.

But Im sure, UAE customers get the cars early always than USA, Canada, UK, etc.

Awesome specs, something weird I noticed though is the additional services (Smart Repair) added to my Accessories & Additional Services section for ~2.9k AED and the registration (1.1k AED).

Oh thats extended warranty.
I did not take it, as anyways the car comes with long warranty.

These were my options:

I see you went for RAS.
Are you going to take the car to the YAS MARINA track a lot ?

I chose RAS mainly because of the shorter turning radius. It’s easier to make U-turns and any sharp turns and further improves the ride. This video demonstrates the benefits:




I was willing to add PTV and PDCC but was advised not to because overall I won’t sense the benefits as much, RAS is noticeable in daily driving. Might track the car a couple of times in Motor City

Ok RAS is more like a gimmick, which you find it very useful, unless you track it a bit at high speed turns.
