Received Allocation for 4S - Would Appreciate Advice on Build

Thanks all. This is helpful information.

1. My build tentatively has the premium package, which 360 degree cameras, no?
2. I've never used any kind of cruise control - are others suggesting adding ACC because it opens up the option to add InnoDrive later? Replacing ParkAssist with ACC makes sense to me, if that's the case.
3. Re: wheel size, I spec'd the wheel size to be smaller because I'd read that makes a meaningful difference in range. The study was based on Teslas, though I don't see why that would be unique to Tesla. Is this wrong?

2. Parkassist includes rear-cross traffic alert, a somewhat useful safety feature. That package is the only way to get that feature, otherwise you won't get it. I never had it on any tesla because tesla never offered it and was fine, but it feels like an essential feature
3. yes larger wheels sacrifice range. sometimes the penalty isn't that much though, from 19" to 20" is a minor change, probably less than 10%. But its all for looks. if you are 100% fine with the looks of the 19", save your money.

To be clear iits a 400v DC to 800v DC voltage booster and NOT a charger. Worth every penny.

In Europe maybe, not in the united states where basically every public CCS charger over 50kw is 800V. Yes i'm well aware Tesla is opening "a portion" its network "by the end of 2024," but its clear the OP is strapped for cash/budget so i wouldn't spec an option i'd use maybe 1 day out of the year that would save me 30 minutes.

Not really strapped for cash/budget (else, why get a Taycan?), but the CCS charger doesn't seem all that useful to me: I'm only going to be charging at home or work, and have used the Tesla supercharger twice in a year and a half of having a Tesla. Not a huge cost though, so worth considering.

The cross-traffic alert has been extremely useful (my current Tesla and the 5-series I had before that both had it), so if ParkAssist is the only way to get it, I think ParkAssist has to stay. If I'm adding that plus Adaptive Cruise Control, makes sense to just add the tech package, no? I've never had a HUD, but people I know that have used it swear by it.

RE: larger wheels, switching out to add the Turbo Aero wheels. I'd do the Mission E wheels, but a friend of mine who works for Porsche told me there's significant delay for those.

- Leather Interior: I saw both and Standard interior without a Leather package is very vinyl with many regretting not upgrading. However, if you are concerned with wear and tear by the children then Standard is the way to go.

Have people had this issue? Are people's kids really damaging leather seats? My kids haven't done this. Yet.

But they're still quite young and will only get crazier, and if it's a significant problem that weighs in favor of getting the base seats.

I spec'd surround view, folding mirrors, RAS, no stereo upgrade ( this preserves trunk height ), Innodrive, LCA, LKA. I was forced to buy the panoramic roof at the time of my order ( Mar 2020 ) but that gets you the roof rack slots if you care . I did buy the 400 V charging capability which now ought to help with the Tesla charging network being opened up to all.

Only in the under floor storage bin area. Most of the rear of the car is unaffected except the under floor storage bin is shallower.

I missed Bose due to shortages and was concerned the standard system would be really disappointing, but it is good enough for music in a car.
I have a music room at home though and mainly listen there.
