I have the effectively the same range as you, it really is excellent if you are not flooring it when you need range.

Don't we already have an epicly long range thread?
Although since I can't find it right now, I'll post yesterday's trip that turned out to be a helpful baseline range test (as opposed to a GoM reading):
  • At almost 42k miles so far, my MY22 4CT has most likely already experienced most of the battery degradation it will ever experience within my eventually ownership of it.
  • CC2 tires (on 20" wheels) are definitely not the best for rolling resistance.
  • Temps ranged from 50sF to 70sF, so no significant HVAC usage, but also no big benefit from lower air density via hot temps at high speeds.
  • No rain.
  • Roundtrip, so no effects from elevation differentials or prevailing winds.
  • Driving conditions started off with optimal secondary highway speeds on Routes 202 and 2, but hilly (hello Pelham and Quabbin!), but then more like interstate speeds (those Eastern MA drivers in a hurry!), followed by pushing 80mph on I-495 and I-93 (so different than I-91 in Western MA!), then after I dropped my daughter off at T station to go to Newbury Street with a friend (with negotiations on max spending allowance severely hampered by being in a Porsche) a slow inefficient crawl to visit my elderly aunt on the North Shore ...
  • ... which means the seemingly near optimal avg speeds of 40mph outbound and 43mph inbound were anything but optimal.

And the results:
  • Total roundtrip mileage 232.
  • Started at 100%, finished at 14%, but L1 charged at my aunt's house (just in case!) for 2% gain, so that's 88% net use ...
  • ... for an extrapolated full-battery range of 264 miles in real-world conditions that were neither perfectly optimal nor several suboptimal.

I wonder what makes a turbo such a gazler compared to 4s… yes it’s a little more powerful but both weigh the same and battery capacity is identical… my typical full tank range was 230 (admittedly without hypermiling)

Driving a CT Turbo S in Germany on 21" I don't care about range and never did.
Why?
The Taycan is such a fast charging car so I stop for 15 Min. after 160-180 miles which does not bother me at all when travelling.
I enjoy the power and while charging: the looks of the car.

I used to drive Teslas, focussing on getting maximum range for many years, that didn't make me happier. Slamming the Turbo S very well does.

By the way: in range mode I can go 240 miles +

15 Min. Charging the Taycan equals around 32 min. charging a Tesla.

^ If you ever visit the U.S., do not rent a Taycan on the idea that you can replicate that charging experience here.
Unless you're in the giant part of the country that sits directly between the east and west coasts. ?

OP, please include key details in future posts because it's easy to get 30 extra miles on a full charge by switching to RANGE mode and turning off any heating or A/C. I can't tell if you did it or not. That's why I always measure mine in NORMAL mode with the A/C on.

See my charts below. The left chart is actual readings, and the right chart is the guess-o-meter estimate at 100% SOC.

A lower %SOC at the start of the charge lowers the guess-o-meter estimate at 100% SOC. For example, the cyan-colored dot with 167 miles was calculated when I pulled into an Electrify America station with 9% SOC and just 15 miles on the guess-o-meter.

My Turbo has the same with 21' mission wheels, I don't know how others are getting way better range in 4S.
