This has been driving me crazy for weeks now, on a rough road surface the two front door rattle so badly the music wont drown it. So I took off the door cards and investigated, nothing in the door card to make such a sound, then I banged the top of the inside of the door and there it is! went deeper into the door and could'nt find anything loose. Then noticed its the window runner that is rattling, looks like the plastic guides have worn out and now are loose.

I have made an appointment with the dealer but they say that rattles are not under warranty! will let you know how it goes.

Sometime ago I complained about a rattle at the driver door and they replaced the window guide. Surprisingly, it didn’t fix it but over time the rattle went away so I think it’s temperature related (expansion and contraction). I will wait until the next winter and see if it comes back.

Bummer the dealer’s dodging warranty on rattles, but push back with proof of regular maintenance. For now, try wedging some felt tape on the runner edges as a temp fix.

I had possibly a similar rattle ... the glass is held in place with 2 brackets ... there is a torx screw at the bottom of the bracket, the screw basically points straight upwards ... it's very hard to see, need to use the camera of your phone to see it.
I turned that one ever so slightly and boom, rattle-free

I had it on the front and back, was driving me nuts, felt like I was driving some piece of junk :)

If you have the doorcard off, bang on the exposed metal to replicate the rattle... then hold the glass (lower it a bit) near the bracket and see if the rattle stops ... then it's most likely the same as I had.

pic of the screw, it's the metal ribbed one in the center of the pic

Curious. Is this standard warranty or CPO warranty?
Most likely CPO, as that specifically says that acoustic defects are not covered.
The standard warranty covers rattles.

This should be in a sticky somewhere, I think most cars develop this rattle after a while.
