Had the roof rails wrapped black yesterday. Way better than the aluminum. They also deleted the aluminum Taycan badge on my request.
I am in doubt to leave it blank or replace with a gloss black badge. What would you do.

I have black badges on my Gentian ST, but if I would spec my car again the badges would be chrome. It gives the rear some more weight, I personally enjoy that extra weight.

I always de badge my car, did it with the Tesla performance and Audi S5. Of course it stays a matter of personal taste.

if everything is black, then my preference would be to have the badges black to.

Had my centre caps replaced from original turbonite to the normal Porsche badges (as the steering wheel and front badge were also ‘normal’)

For me it's either no badge (How I ordered my CT4) or badge painted in exterior color like I had on my Turbo S, which is almost invisible anyway.
Well introducing another option isnt going to help me :CWL: good option though not sure Porsche is selling these of the shelf or if I should have one painted myself.

I don't mind the badge on the taycan, I usually keep badges in the same color as my window-trim ... so in my case gloss black.

I think it's a very personal choice.

It was kinda of a trend in the car scene that people debadged expensive models to avoid getting stolen (this didn't work in my country (NL) cuz you can determine the model by the license plate).
So, after a while people with standard models decided to remove the badge as well to make it look like a more expensive model.
So when you saw a car without a badge you knew it was an expensive model but in reality it was a standard model.... 🥴
(in the same category of ///M badges on standard BMW)

I have a Turbo S without the badge cuz I think it looks cleaner (cuz the Porsche logo is there as well, it would look way too crowded).
And to make it look like it's the standard model for people who don't know how license plates work....😆

Out of sincere curiosity; how do the deleters determine where to stop?
Rear type badge; Allrighty i get it, but what’s next? Porsche lettering on the back? Porsche badge on the rims? Porsche badge on the front? Porsche badge on the steering wheel? Rear windscreen wiper?

edit: this sounds retorical, but it’s not! I would like to know what parts would be deleted by a deleter ;)

Well for me just the silver taycan badge since the silver roof rails are now black. Was gonna replace it with black but in serious doubt as I kinda like the clean look…

i mean… it doesnt look weird or nude like this to me...
