Better to Let Drain or Just Keep Topping Off?

Is it better for battery longevity to let charge level get down to 20% or so, and then charge up to 85% on Mobile Charger, or to just top off every night (ie from 60-70% to 85%)?

the premise of the question is false - there is no 'better'

don't let it get two low (and stay there) and don't charge to 100% and let it sit there…

best to just keep it ready for your daily use…

if you think "you" can do anything to the battery you're ignoring 1000's of lines of software code from Porsche's best battery engineers that monitor and manage the battery - there is nothing _YOU_ can do the battery…

use the car, enjoy the car, keep it ready for your usage - and the battery will take care of itself.

One reason to let it drain down to 20% (or less) is that you want to get rid of old, stale electrons and put in new electrons.

same reason you want to swap out the gas on an ICE.
