Bip & Go Recharge card

Has anyone experience of using the Bip & Go recharge card?
It states on their site that is cost 0.20€ per charge - that seems to good to be true

I think I would file it under 'too good to be true'.

The way I read it, is that Bip&Go is an aggregator that gets you access to nearly all the charing points in France, without needing accounts or cards for each of the different networks. For that privilege you pay either an extra 20 cts connection charge, plus then whatever the network charges per KwH/min, or I think you can pay 0.2 cts per KwH/min extra if you use the app.

I thought Bip&Go provide electronic toll payment services for French Motorways.
Did not know they provide EV charging service. "Recharge" in France refers to top-up in UK. So it maybe a pre-paid toll fee payment card.

I had an electronic badge from them when I lived in France and they can take payg toll payments direct from your bank with a 10 Euro per year subscription - saves you stopping to pay the tolls.

I believe you pay the prices from the underlying network PLUS the 20c fee for the card.
They might add a margin too - quite a few of the aggregators (eg Shell Recharge) add a fee which is often not disclosed until you get the bill at the end of the month. For this reason I normally just use the app that goes with each charger.

Chargemap Pass is reportedly an excellent scheme in France, but here in the UK none of the sites that appear in their app are even remotely competitive price wise...
