Hi everyone. Does anyone know what partners within the Porsche charging service no longer work? I’m unsure at this stage whether I have a faulty account or whether their charge partners have discontinued a contract. The only times I have tried to use the card have been with Shell, which didn’t work, and when I spoke to the Porsche team they informed me that Shell was no longer a partner. I have now tried with BP, the charge card didn’t work so I again spoke to Porsche, they informed me that both shell and BP should work as charge partners. If anyone has anymore experience with this I’s much appreciate it if they could share with me. Thanks

I can't answer your question as a rarely use them. But there doesn't seem to be an official list that's made available.

This is what i collated sometime ago as supposedly being on it:
- Allego
- ESB
- Fastned
- IONITY
- Osprey
- Porsche dealers
- Shell (delete i guess)

I know ionity and osprey still work. I did try shell a month or so ago with the card and it didn't work. However, also worth trying via the my porsche app as i think that sometimes works when the card doesn't.

My standard procedure is always to offer the porsche card wherever i stop, just in case. Aside from ionity and osprey, i've never got it to work!

I do not think such a list exists. Seems Porsche are just as secretive and non communicative as ever. I just can not understand why they behave that way. She’ll certainly is no longer an option.

I tried to talk to then]m last spring when planning a trip to the south coast of the U.K. The misinformation I got during several calls was unbelievable. They claimed a number of stations were included one day only to retract that the next day.

I know that if you look for charging stations in France via the MyPorsche app and set the filters for say 150 kW and above, then the stations mainly work. But it still is not 100% guaranteed. I have been to a few stations that the nav planner included in my route, only to find out that was not the case. And stopping with 7% charge was no joy and no HPC stations around.

For anyone else who might be interested in this subject. Having spoken to one of the Porsche team yesterday who subsequently confirmed that BP Pulse and Shell are current partners of the Porsche Charging network. I later decided to stop at a BP Pulse charger, only to find that BP Pulse has been wiped from the Porsche charging service map. I can only really conclude that the charging service is a complete mess and cannot be relied upon. If anyone has any further input as to the availability of BP Pulse & Shell (the most numerous chargers) to the Porsche Charging network I’d be grateful if they could pitch in

The Porsche charging card is paying per minute except for Ionity so I try to avoid it anyway.
It never worked for Fastned and Shell when I tried.
So now I'm using the Porsche card in Ionity or wait for the plug&charge but it can take longer to connect.
And everywhere else I'm using a Shell card linked to my previous petrol company card and if not working I try with a Chargemap card and both have cheaper pricing than Porsche.

You are correct in that Porsche Charging Service also has a per minute charge. But in my case, where the card has worked at non Ionity stations the calculated average per kWh including the time element and the kWh charged, has come out at about 0.55- 0.6 € per kWh.

Check this for Shell Charging at Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire , UK with Chargemap!!! 1.09 € per kWh. And they defended their pricing!!! When I questioned them.

Also check out Chargemaps description of 475 kW charger!!! Probably the max for all their 175 kW units installed if ever full ( never seen any body charging here though)

One has to be extremely careful to use any of these charging facilitators, they are mainly a rip off.
Shell UK is very expensive also when you pay by credit card. I have hardly ever seen any cars at their stations on the route s I have travelled there, which is perfect if you are prepared to pay.

The car charges really fast and it can still be a better deal.m even with the price per minute. Not for AC charging over night in a public chargers. That could lead to a high bill.

Fastend now works with Porsche charging. At high charge speeds it’s actually cheaper than directly with fastned. I switched plug and charge off for this.

At the Porsche charge lounge it is also a price only per kWh and nothing per minute. But that is just one location.

Next to the Porsche card I have a back up: Shell recharge, maingau, plug surfing, enel X and a Tesla account. Usually I use the Porsche card for fast chargers. Sometimes needed Shell. Once enel X in Italy. For AC usually Shell.

Once, I was in a rush to take my plane and took the Porsche card instead of the parking one at the airport.
Price per minute when you leave it for 2 days is not the best…

Shell stopped supporting the Porsche Charging Services ages ago. I asked Porsche Smart Monility and they sent me a pretty silly reply saying that some [all??] Shell stations are actually part of some other (unsupported) networks in the UK and they are unable to tell which is which, so they can‘t remove them from the Porsche database. Not very helpful.

I 95% use IONITY, and when I use them I do so with Plug&Charge. But I've used Fastned a few times and it worked fine with the Porsche Charging card.

Found the attached table on-line. Not sure it is totally accurate, but it seems to be a good start. it may be country dependent.

Personally I have the following “procedure” (Flanders based)
1. - Porsche Changing Card: fast charging for speeds >100 kW, when I stay with the car. This works very well on IONITY and Fastned. Both have often Plug & Charge, but Fastned Plug & Charge is expensive.
2. Freshmile (French Card) for slow charging specificaLily when I don’t stay with the car (e.g. during lunch).
3. P+Card for charging when Parked in an “Interparking” parking. There is no per-minute charge on this card in their own parking spaces.
4. Bluecorner for overnight charging (e.g. at hotels), as no per-minute charging at night.
5. Shell Charging card: expensive, so only when nothing else works and I need a charge.
6. ELLI: spare card, high price, but large network and no overnight per-minute rate.

I haven’t encountered a «Shell» or «BP» charging station, the «TotalEnegy» ones are too expensive (>€0.85 + perminute), so i avoid them. I haven’t tried the Allego ones (not needed.
