I had the same after 2 weeks of ownership. It needed a new charger, battery, rear motor, and battery heater, and they repaired it after 4 months in the garage. The key is to get a good Taycan loaner as it will take longer than they say as Porsche takes time to review at each stage. Good Luck
So sorry to hear that you are having issues - my 4S had the same red error and had to have the whole HV battery replaced just a couple months ago. I thought the HV battery issue was just a 2020 "feature", but I see you have a GTS ST... mind if I ask what year? I just stepped into a 2023 GTS ST, and thought I wasn't going to need to worry about more HV battery issues. :(
it’s a 2023 and was registered Aug 23. Am glad I took the advice and did not travel !!

Yes for sure don’t travel. It’s a huge headache when this occurs. Currently on month three myself of waiting to get my car back. That didn’t include the month I had to wait to even get an appointment. I really enjoy the car but it’s my wife’s. This has fully pushed her off ever buying another ev and may end up with us selling it whenever we get it back.

Sharing an update: so early December they diagnosed a problem with a battery cell and some other charging components, after a bit of a dance I also got a Macan replacement and good news that parts were on order and they had just trained some of their technicians to do the work required - good news ??

The not so good news is that despite having the parts and the people they apparently don’t have the necessary HV tools to do the work, apparently on order from Porsche since last year but no idea when they will get them, seems absolutely bonkers that they have not made the tools available to complete the work and have no timelines.

Whilst I am happy to be putting miles on the loaner, I want the car back and am really disappointed with time to fix, anyone heard of issues getting access to the tools they need for battery fixes?? Am starting to think I am being fobbed off !!

Not that I have heard at least I never got that excuse when mine was in. Do you have another local dealer they can flag bed it too that does have the tools? Mine ended up going to a second dealer. In the end my repair took a hair over 4 months. These timelines are completely unacceptable to me. Especially the cost of said repairs. Gladly it’s under warranty but this vehicle will be a no go for me out of warranty. Good luck with your repair hopefully you get it back soon.

Unfortunately you should be concerned. Various things seem to have caused this for members in the past including the HV battery failing. I am not sure that long trips are a good idea.:(
Next gen Taycan should be quite the improvement.
