you're based in Europe, so I'd think insurance and warranty operates on very different rules in Europe than US.

My only understanding of the "blocked VIN" are for cars that were stolen by transnational criminal orgs and the car was shipped out of the country of registration.

I have both it from the dealer of used cars in Germany.I have all documents, also bill for extended waranty. My only idea is that they know that the car has had an accident, and need to be fixed in Porsche. If not, then no warranty any more.

Did you or the previous owner ask to transfer the warranty into your name and receive confirmation of this?
Note the warranty is transferrable only between private owners.
My other guess is whether the service scheduled has been followed/records updated.
As mentioned already, accident repairs by a non approved repairer could be a factor

No.I didn't ask, because I red somewhere it is fixed with the car! Also it is stupid that they don't check the car if I pay in all points like normal for extended warranty and if it is all good done, no problem!

There was a thread a while back about an odometer defeating device, which caused the VIN to be blacklisted if found.

Blocked vin can happen when a car has been reported with some sort of problem (hit, malfunction, etc) and it was never fixed in an authorized dealer. You can check which dealership has put the block and ask the why.

Ok.And if it is fixed corectly, why they can control the car and say it is all ok and you can pay extended warranty?

Yes but it has to be lifted by the people the same dealership. It is possible to be done by another dealership but it is much more complicated. After that if you pass the 101 points (or smth like that) inspection I think you are ok to have an extended warranty.

It's my understanding that you generally cannot get a Porsche CPO warranty transferred if you buy the car from an independent dealership source, only a private seller or a Porsche dealership.

So you think I can do the inspection?

So you think I can do the inspection?

It is all about communication.

I would suggest that you first find out who placed the block marker, if you don’t already know. This information can be provided by any Porsche Center.

After that, contact them and obtain all the details regarding why it was flagged. Then ask whether they would allow you to undergo the inspection at another Porsche Center and send the report to them for verification. This will confirm that the issue has been fully addressed and that they are willing to remove the block.

Once the block is removed and you have successfully passed the 101-point check, you should be eligible for the warranty.

I bought accident car.It was light damaged in the front (all plastics which are behind front bumper, bumper new color (all peaces oem Porsche about 1500€) left behind tyre and rim,I boght used, some aluminium peaces of suspension (oem used)cranckhalf was only outside the engine and I put it back and cleaned the error with piwis, also I changed aluminium bridge under the engine (it was broken)also I founded used.I boght new oem plastic pipes from the engine to the first corner where is normal to change them, and it was a litle damage on the left behind fender,so small that I drive like that.So all together demage was if it will be done in Porsche max 20000€, and that cant be total damage for Taycan Turbo CT from 2022 with 45000km.I think it was some dirty job with insurance.

Because the repairs were completed by a non Porsche Approved body shop, that would void any existing warranty. The previous owner may have claimed a refund on the outstanding warranty period.

Your car may be on a ‘write-off’ register. In the UK where such cars are repaired the government vehicle safety authority has to inspect them before they are put back on the road. That may depend on the severity and classification of the damage. If the same applies in your country, that may be your first review step, ahead of getting a Porsche 101 check.

In the US the dealer can't deny a warranty claim because you used aftermarket parts or used another repair shop to service your car. They have the burden of proof that the aftermarket part caused the damage. However, they can pick and choose what standards apply for offering a warranty in the first place.
