Sorry to hear you've had the Bose removed from your spec but worth checking out the standard system in case it is ok/suitable.

My SA informed me on Monday that he had received a list from Stuttgart and was about to start calling customers with the news. He did say the list was all RWD and CT 4 models.

Remember that this doesn't help with the crucial on the road testing which is likely where the additional sonic range and power of the Bose would standout - if you can, take them for a drive.

play them while test driving but that base audio is so bad you’ll be able to pick up on it right away to be honest..

I think I would probably prefer to rub chilli in my eyes than listen to that clip twice...

Mind you it only had one bass note so impossible to use it to judge bass performance.
Even one of those shite systems that sound like you have got somebody kicking a box in the back would cope with a single note bass! ?

If you're at V220, and Bose is still showing on your build sheet, I think you should be okay! Make sure to ask your SAs to check.

I’ve asked my SA for a copy of the Stop Sale note.

response was negative stating “….We don’t have any “official notification” from Porsche to pass on to customers. If xxx should require any proof of the stop sale they will come to me directly”

Not sure I am being paranoid but how do I know this isn’t s ploy to get me to PAUSE delivery so they can pass the car to a more profitable buyer?

I popped into the dealer on my way by with my wife today to see she is OK with the seat.
Latest arrival estimate for my car now end of November to them, early December pickup maybe.
The sales person said cars lacking the 12V battery are being kept in Germany, cars lacking the Bose electronics are being delivered to the dealer but being kept back until the electronic box can be fitted.

Biggest piss off was being approached by an enthusiastic customer while Sheenagh was trying the seat recommending the car to us and when I said we ordered one last July being told her order was in September and they had the car in June.

That customer might have ordered a different car (trim/options). People who ordered Taycan GTS'es, a car which did not even exist at the time I put a deposit down on the CTT, got their cars before I even got an allocation at a couple of dealerships, similar story with a a bunch of people ordering other Taycans way after me who got their cars by now.

Went to the dealers to try a madam with bose and one with standard - newest they had to a Taycan ST.

When I got there they’d just received a CT with standard stereo….bonus ?

Tried my 3 test tunes (see earlier post) on varying roads and somewhat legal speeds, the same with the radio.

Summary is thanks to Porsche stop notice I’ve just saved myself £ 900 as it was absolutely great.

I think it depends on what you've had listening before.
When I bought my Panamera I thought Bose is pretty decent but then a friend bought one with Burmester and then I realized how bad Bose sounds, haha
