Hi Simon, I’m following your progress/journey so I can get a sense of where I am or will be as well. Fingers crossed it goes well with yours from here on in.

Dealer just emailed with another delay.... looks like 2 weeks late... still if this dates sticks it will still be 6 months and 1 week from ordering

Thanks for the update Simon. I'm holding off getting in in touch before 11 November (start build date) just to see if I get a call/message from my SA in the meantime . Suspect mine could be moving to the right as well.

Yes I was holding off as I guess I did not want bad news but my SA just emailed... at least he is proactive in keeping me informed.

I'm not doing anything until Friday but this is pretty much what I'm expecting from them at that point. Sorry to hear this though.

Still pretty impressive for a CT 4S. Mine ordered in July 2021 is likely to be a year longer than anticipated at that time, if the latest estimate is correct.

My build is due to finish tomorrow and not heard anything from Porsche dealer. This has made me feel less confident and pretty sure mine is going to be the same, but i dont even want to email and ask!!! ha

I was given 25 November at dealer 2 or 3 weeks ago and that still holds for now.
My car exited build in July ‘22 but is mouldering in storage awaiting a 12V battery, so you may get yours before me since cars in build get a higher priority than the stored ones, it seems.
Once the dealer gets mine there will probably be a longer PDI period than usual with potential for blocked drain holes and software months out of date to be attended to.

6 months is perfectly possible even today if you happen to come across an allocation which is about to freeze when you put your first deposit down. Of course it can take even less if you pick up someone else's build already in production for example.

Just got an email from the dealer to say the car is built. I didn't quite believe it so asked for the screenshot and have now seen that it was built yesterday and should be in Emden tomorrow, sailing next Friday.

I'm still convinced something will go wrong but this is the first TCT good news I've had in 18 months!
