Broken after less then a week - not AC charging

Hello all

A bit of context picked the car up last Friday. I took it to be PPF’ed and picked it up on Thursday; we plugged it in for the first time after receiving it from the dealership and were greeted with the message. ‘
AC charging not possible
Fast charging still possible, visit workshop’

It will not charge at home; we use a Tesla charger, which works fine with our other cars.

It's super frustrating, given that it’s a brand-new car and its cost.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Is there anything we can do?

You could try AC charging with port on other side of car.
You could try a public AC charger.
I'd take it to dealer. They can check charging on their AC charger.

Thanks for the input I have tried with the other port no luck with either.
But I will give the others a try tomorrow

Take it in for service. I don’t have any error message but the car abruptly stops charging on the home charger but charges well with high speed chargers.

I have the4 same problem. Mine is a year old and been back at Porsche 3 times with this fault They tried to blame chargers used (we charge BMW,Mini and Toyota with them ) and the loan car chargers perfectly (another Taycan). They said a software upgrade caused it and they had fixed it bit clearly didnt . It has now been back with Porsche for two weeks and still not resolved

Porsche dealer Porkies.
Insufficient product diagnostics, product support & training, validation (lateral thinking) and capacity are all underlying factors. Cars have become complicated, especially battery driven ones.

Update: I will be getting it back on Monday. They stated it was a software issue. I wonder if this issue might pop up in the future.

Pickup of my new car was delayed a few days due to a software recall, collected it a few days ago its charging fine, so hopefully that was it and yours will be all good once it's updated
