New 25 Taycan, AC charging not possible

3 days old, first charge, AC charging not possible.
Pretty disappointing on a 3 day old car.
Hopefully it’s a quick fix?
Any other 25 owners having this issue?

It used to be the case that Porsche Gen2 editions ironed out the quality problems.
Bigger battery apart, there seems no good reason to change up to a Gen2 Taycan.

Not a 25 car, but when mine stopped charging AC but would still charge DC it was the 22kw onboard charger that was kaput and had to be changed. Was a quickish fix (less than a week), but they had the part in stock. Hopefully something simpler for you.

Have you tried with a different charger and cable?

Yes I’ve tried it on 3 different chargers and both ports, I ran the car over to the dealers on the day I discovered this and they have confirmed there is a fault… but they are not sure what yet. Waiting for a curtesy car to become available.

My new 25 4S stopped charging soon after I bought it. It was eventually diagnosed as a problem with the charging hardware. The charging hardware was replaced, and I have had no problems since. Hope your dealer will recognize this and/or get help from Porsche more quickly than mine did.
