Hey everyone,

I’m taking delivery of a CPO Taycan 4s that came from North Carolina all the way to Washington State. The dealer applied Llumar PPF and I asked them to keep off the badges. They said they kept my badges off but the shipping pictures showed the “electric” badges removed but the Taycan 4s badge is still there. I assume I have zero recourse because it was a request and they are across the country, as is their PPF installer. So I either keep it as is or remove it myself.

Is it safe to remove the badge using floss or am I going to destroy the PPF?

I did it on mine on the paint and it was fine. PPF you have nothing to worry about

Use hot water, pour on the badge, carefully use floss to remove.

I used Koch Cemie Eulix to remove the glue. It might be harmful to PPF but GooGone should be fine

IMHO removing the badge on top of a PPF with floss may damage the PPF. I would leave it alone, or ask a PPF installer, don't DYI.
