Hi,
I need to do a long journey and take a large EV.
Can I use my Porsche Charge Card to get relatively cheap fast charging at a UK Porsche Dealership's EV charger for a non Porsche car?
Thank you.

Yes.

Contract and Car Linking: When you activate the Porsche Charging Service (PCS), the contract and card are linked to your vehicle via its specific VIN.

One Card Per Car: Only one charging card can be issued per active contract. If you want multiple physical means of authentication, Porsche recommends purchasing the official RFID crest keyring.

Using it in Other Vehicles: While the contract is tied to your car, the physical card and account can still be used to pay for charges on other vehicles (like a friend's EV or a rental car) at public charging points.

Plug & Charge: If you use "Plug & Charge", the car itself communicates directly with compatible chargers (like Ionity) to bill your linked account.

You can also use the Porsche App instead of the physical card. Just go on the app and press the qr scan key on the battery bar.

Cannot recommend the key-ring.
The chip failed twice on mine.
How the hell can a RFID chip fail?
I have no clue.
(No, it couldn't be reactivated)

Absolutely. I've charged non-Porsches many times with my Porsche Charging account. Sometimes via the app, and sometimes via my card, and sometimes via the Porsche RFID key fob.

I have two Porsche RFID key fobs, and both have been flawless. Just a datapoint. Maybe you were unlucky.

Used a Tesla Public Supercharger for the first time [Penrith].
Very easy, lots of chargers, decent services just off the M6.
