Here is what they sent to my service advisor. I hope this works, would rather not have my Taycan stuck in the shop for ages.
Hey all. I dropped my Taycan off yesterday and they already have the data connectivity restored after following the steps sent from Porsche North America (see quoted post). Hopefully it is a durable fix, but in my case they did not suggest ordering any hardware

Interesting that dealer said power disconnection which worked for 20-24 Taycans does not work for 2025 Taycans.
I had also tried disconnecting the 12V supply and leaving it that way for 40m or so in the weeks before my service appointment. I haven't found anyone on this forum reporting that that has restored connectivity on a J1.2, so yes it seems as if that technique is no help on the J1.2s.

Thanks for posting this Rowdy; this is the first of the two lists of tasks I was trying to get from my dealer. I'm going to try to get the second list, the one that included the step described as "perform resets per support" from my receipt. Supposedly this list was 2 pages long.

By the way, after the fix I contacted PCNA via email explaining I had no connectivity for the first 6 months of ownership and they extended my Porsche Connect free period by 6 months.

I would be Porsche I would have given 1 or 2 years more as it cost them nothing and transform a bad experience into a better memory. But better than nothing I guess.

Here’s what my invoice said regarding the fix, for anyone interested
So yours seems to have been fixed without hardware replacement - well done - mine must be a different fault unless there is a type of resetting which my OPC didnt try.

Strange that their diagnosis is “internal electrical defect” but they performed no hardware repair…
