Carrera White Metallic opinions?

Initially had my eyes on a crayon grey but went for CWM and am very happy with it.

As others have noted, the colour does best on sunny days and the London autumn weather is not particularly sparing - but at least my regular hand wash place is happy

I agree a bit. I test drove a GTS yesterday in Crayon and it was so dull and did nothing for me. And the sun was out. My wife hated it. I like Neptune but Carrera White wins for me. Frozen Blue I still love but it's too risky.

Remember, when you order CWM that it's called CarrAra White Metallic, not CarrEra White cuz that would end up as a PTS color on your bill which is $10.000 extra.

I obsessed over this , Top is metallic - flat white is to yellow/beige in my opinion - I went with metallic for my GTS which will hopefully be here soon! (BTW, there’s a reason the Mission E was in white , it’s stunning)

I'm finding picking a colour for my GTS order a nightmare. I was thinking Frozen Blue but can't find one locally so nervous. I like the lighter shades so thinking of going for CWM. We live in SW France so many sunny days.

So the main question, is it going to look good in the sun and how noticeable is the metallic. I've heard it's subtle.

If I don't go CWM I could go flat white or Neptune Blue which I've seen in a showroom and like it but it's a not a light shade but nice. My spec is high so didn't really want anything else over the price of the metallic colours.

Ever.been to Dubai? Many cars there are finished in metallic white and is noticeably different when up close to solid white - should actually be called Frozen White. Pretty much all manufacturers have a similar metallic white.

I had a demo Neptune blue CT4S for a day - again not a colour I'd lust after, especially at the premium price.

That said, both colours will pop in bright sunshine...perhaps to keep your GTS "pure" go Carmine Red (Signal Red - the original GTS from 1952 - isn't an option).

Hi, check photo of my 4S CW. You can't be wrong with this color.

I recently received my GTS in CWM, this colour definitely makes the car looks bigger, no regret at all.

I like my Carrara White but I don't find it very metallic. I've seen a few Ice Greys now and they do seem to have more of a flake in there but otherwise looks surprisingly close to CW - that'd be my pick if I specced this car again.
