This magazine, Charged, has a comprehensive overview of the EV and electrical charging world. This month has a superb article on where we (EV owners) are/will be when it comes to charging, CCS vs. Tesla, and the status of the companies that will be providing the charging infrastructure, especially in the USA. One portion discusses the disappointment users have with the EA network...not as robust as sit should be, the problems with integration with our cars, and the disappointment nearly every time you pull up to a broken EA charger. They posit that VW has really be dragging its feet in creating the network and using that 2$ billion fine from diesel gate to build and maintain them. In fact in the article an EA execs is quoted saying he has $18 million to build them and not one cent for repair!!! Another section does a good job reviewing the news that some larger auto makers have committed to using Tesla chargers vs. the CCS/J1772 charging units. Take a look and let's put some pressure on EA.
