Appreciate Taycan guidance

my charging timer has never worked
Purchased new 12/22

received detailed instructions on setting timer
Two separate service visits at two dealerships without success

Emails and calls to Porsche NA (months) for help in finding a solution go unanswered

my only way to charge is Direct and have to monitor charging time with my phone as it doesn’t limit charge level

tried to escalate from Porsche NA “switchboard” to get someone’s attention

any suggestions on where to go from here?

how can you sell a $120k vehicle and be unresponsive to support simple operational issues?

And btw, being in new at this, I recently tested the timer thing limiting the charge @85% and it worked flawlessly. I'd like to thank you all : valuable reading as the combined behavior between profile and time was not obvious to me at the first place. So kudos!

Thank you.
I’ve followed every piece of advice and instructions from the Forum and the dealers.

It’s never worked for me, or the dealers

I’ve been told it’s a software problem that needs resolution by Germany

I have no idea what to do now.

In your general profile, lift up the minimum charge from 25% to 85%, or the charger will pause until the right time to reach the target charge by 7:00AM. Same result?

Thanks
I will try it and report back

my understanding is if I do so, it will immediately charge to 85% and the timer won’t come into play

still, not a bad solution so it doesn’t go to 100%

Well? What was the outcome? Do you still need help?

Setting minimum charge to 80% gets the job done. Plug and play.

Still no timer function working
Porsche NA has set up an appointment with me to review it, take photos of PCM and communicate with German engineers

My timer has suddenly started playing up.
It's been working fine for 2 years and just recently has started throwing up the 'unable to reach set charge' message.

I don't sleep well and was awake today when it was supposed to finish charging at 04.30am.
Battery was at 75%, target 85%.

Checked on the app and it only actually started charging at about 04.30 (and immediately threw up the 'unable to reach...' message.

As I say nothing has changed on the profile, timer or EVSE (set to dumb charge).

It’s looks correct to me. You have a profile set to min 25%. That means the car will always charge at least to 25%. Then you have a timer set to 7AM and 85%. It means it will charge to 85% by 7AM. If you want to always it charge to 85% and stop regardless of time of the day, use only a charger profile set to a desired %.
