I assume you're having a laugh and on purpose have quoted the top-ridiculousness phrases either saying confusing contradictions or major DUH's there...

Is there a way to just "trust me bro" manually turn the preconditioning on?

I might be using Android Auto to route to the charger, or some reason the nav doesn't know about the charger, like new Teslas. Is Preconditioning really under exclusive PCM nav control?

There isn't and there really should be. And with J1.2 requiring a lot less preconditioning and having a much wider temperature range for fast charging; there never will be!
