Marshmallow is exactly what it seems. My appointment is in 10 days.

# of days my Taycan has been at the dealership 30 days including service and Tire changes over the last 2.5 yrs.
# of days my 911 was at the dealership for 3 yrs same criteria 5 days in total!
WOW! I thought it was just me! My Taycan was at the dealership a week after I purchased it. I truly feel like the dealer has my car more than I do. I need to replace all 4 tires again. I just changed them last June (not even a year). The dealership acts like its an inconvenience when I bring the car in. I love the car when its in my possesion. I got the Chassis error as soon as I noticed my tire was going flat.. (Along with about 4-5 other issues). Im pushing 2 years with this car and its issues. I'm having it towed to the dealership on Tuesday.

Yes!! I was searching for any known issues. My first error (2022 4s). It popped up randomly and once I got home I locked her and came back 30 mins later and it was gone. Weird

As I mentioned above mine was diagnosed with a strut fault which they are replacing. I should have confirmation on Wednesday when the part comes in. I’ll report back.

Are you without the car until the part arrives or are you driving it?

My error started out very similar to yours it would trigger and then disappear after a restart until over the last two weeks it just remained constant. The strut replacement makes sense given I took a hard knock due to a big pot hole which probably damaged it. Hopefully strut replacement solves the issue.

Would that not be an insurance issue rather than a warranty one?

That depends if the manufacturer can prove the problem was caused by that incident. I personally suspect they won't lift an eyebrow, mainly because that pothole should have ripped the rim into pieces to affect the suspension unless it's way flimsier than it should.

Years ago, I've split a rim in half in a pothole at 90km/h. Tire pieces flying everywhere. Not a pleasant experience. Suspension no damage. Wheel and tire reimbursed by city Hall after filling out the form and attaching pics of the pothole. Here the city is responsible for street mantainance. If property damage occurs due to lack of it, they're responsible. It's also a great way of forcing them to redo the areas because after 3 or 4 claims at the same spot, it starts hurting their wallet.

So not sure if they’ll do both for the front. I know it’s ideal to do both front together to have the same wear. As costs are involved they will likely just replace the offending strut?

I think its funny how we are all just casually "Yeah I got this error in my car, not sure why but I closed it, locked it, and then came back x minutes later and it was gone. Weird."

The $150K+ car that glitches as much as a Windows laptop and we treat it the same. Just gripe and hit it with a ctrl/alt/del salute...I suppose it doesn't help that the system doesn't store the fault with a level of detail that the tech can treat it. Perhaps Porsche designed it that way.

If it weren't for the legendary reliability of the 911 and most customers being cult like in their brand loyalty, I think the Taycan would be taking a bit more of a hit on the brand. Right now it reminds me of that meme; what was the wording again? Oh yeah...

called now by the dealer; Replaced electrical wiring on a shock absorber, which was driving the system crazy. Now the car is ok
I'll go pick it up later...

This is the diagnosis:
Verified customer concern, Found chassis warning on instrument cluster. Connected PIWIS tester created a VAL and scanned for faults. Found chassis fault C104213

- Left rear dampening

adjustment valve, Open circuit, C104201 - Left rear dampening adjustment valve,

Electrical error.

Checked vehicle wiring to left rear

strut and found no issues. Determined left rear strut is internally damaged.

Removed left rear wheel and wheel liner replaced left rear strut and re installed in reverse order. connected PIWIS tester deleted faults and performed after VAL.

vehicle is now operating with no further issues
