Has anyone else noticed condensation inside the rear light bar? I’ve got it all the way along, also in the side markers.

not the easiest to see in the photos because of reflection. It was like this before I washed it. Don’t use a pressure washer.
I’m thinking this isn’t great and if it doesn’t clear up, which I don’t expect it will, then it’s another one for the dealer

Yeah, mine does the same. I noticed it today when I washed it. Seems we’re not alone!

Every Porsche I've had (all models except 911) this happens...not yet on my Taycan though!

I had this same thing on my Model S. Tesla actually replaced the lights and rear decorative strip for this exact problem under warranty (back in the good days when Tesla service was super spectacular - before Model 3 production...) The second set had the same issue.

I have heard about Teslas having this issue from someone else. They had some lights changed on a Model X after first being told there was a test to see if the condensation was within tolerance, apparently had become quite a common problem. He kicked up a fuss and got them changed.

I'm thinking along those lines, surely any condensation inside the light units is intolerable, for a start it really doesn't look nice. I'll mention next time the car is in and see what happens.

Today a “center backup light defective“ notice popped up and I noticed my light bar has condensation. Scheduled a service appointment.

I've had some water get in there in the process of washing but used a blower on sides (this is a CT so possibly a slightly diff setup re how the lights end on the tailgates) and you can see the beads run out pretty well - after which I never see the condensation you are seeing here though. Seems to be a different issue with not enough venting perhaps.

The sides of the centerlight seem to be sealed with a black piece of plastic. Did you remove this to use the blower?

I'll have to go look at my car but no I def did not remove anything but quite confident I can move water through there with the blower as have observed multiple times - when I get a chance I'll follow up!
