Corrupted scrambled center screen.

I tried searching for similar issues, but mainly found frozen or stuck screen issues. Just curious if anyone has run into an issue with the center display where the screen went completely scrambled/garbled/corrupted, and eventually went black. I tried turning the car on and off and it did the same thing after a few minutes. It eventually came back on and is working normally for now.

I just picked up the car, brand new 2025 model with 100 miles. I'm wondering if I should address this with the dealer right away or just hope it was a one time glitch.

Ok, I'll be sure to snap a picture if it happens again, but the screen looked almost identical to this picture below.

Looks like a hardware failure, not a software bug. I would dutifully document and report to your dealer.

Good call, I'll address the issue with the dealer on Monday and hopefully get it sorted quickly. If it is a hardware failure, I don't suppose I'd be so lucky to have them replace it with the updated '26 PCM.

I had a similar issue. It happened once and it disappeared after the car was turned off for a few hours. I showed the picture to my dealer and they forwarded it to Porsche who authorized a PCM replacement.

I agree that it's very unlikely to be software. I had a couple of Google Pixel C's die with that sort of symptom, initially presenting as intermittent and then Jackson Pollock Technicolor Screen of Death.
