PS - that is one reason I went for the turbo as memory seats are standard - get 3 shorter people ensconced in the back - and then lower the seats for two six footers in the front.

Thanks B -that gives me a little hope.

I have booked another test drive on Wednesday to try and suss it out with the wifey - the salesperson can;t help because of Covid - was trying to avoid that since my wife is disabled and it's a palaver for her to clamber about. She is only 5'0" -daughter 5'6" son and son in law 5'9" & 5'10" I am 6'1"

It is 2023 (no specified month) - I only booked the slot a week ago for a turbo CT. Could have got a 4S for December 2022 - but thought I would hang on for 2023 and that gave me a Turbo slot..

cheers
Understood.
good luck, but 2022 will be a very looong year….

OK Update... 2nd road test today.....

With a lot of seat adjustment and clambering from one seat to another - managed to suss out rear space for 3 adults mixed sizes, with front seats set for 6 footers.

Yes it's a bit of a squeeze - rear foot-space under seats is main constraint - but it is eminently doable - even for medium trips.

Memory seats make it much easier - Memory 1: front seats fully forward and up to allow rear passengers easy access - then Memory 2: resets the front seats back and down for the biguns to get in the front.

Cheers

Just curious: can you define "mixed sizes" adults? (how tall they are, what's their weights?)

Hi B.

I only had my wife (5'0" petite) and myself (6'1" - 15 stone) to play with - because of covid.

So I was acting as driver and passengers to assess it - took a bit of wriggling to get out from centre rear seat (when set back) - but front seat were far enough back to allow me to drive and for similar sized front seat passenger - but seat memory would make that much easier

not a perfect test - but good enough for me.

On the rare occasions I need to carry 5 people - the rear mix would be: 5'0" petite female behind front passenger - 5'5" normal build female in the middle seat & 5'10" well-built male behind driver. With 6'0" and 6'1" in front. TBH I don't see a problem for occasional shortish-medium trips.

Plus, family are very accommodating and will put up with mild discomfort if necessary.

With 2 front seat memories set to full forward and 'accommodate rear passenger' positions - it should be relatively simple to do -
