Supposed delivery Dec 31 (orig order July 7) - 7 weeks+ past the original estimated delivery date - banking on February 2022!

Well I believe that was after the 4th official production date change over the prior 3 months so wasn't exactly looking good - glad to be proven wrong !

If this weather pattern holds up I guess it is just meant to get to Houston

Wanted to circle back to thank people for suggesting I contact Porsche to get TYD working. I had tried this previously but they couldn't sort it. I now realize that's because we had put the order in under my wife's name (the Taycan will be her daily driver) and I had created the MyPorsche account under my name.

So this time I set it up under her name, got the folks at Porsche customer service to add the order to her account, and sure enough, everything started populating on both the website and apps. A few hours later, TYD showed up in both places. Shows that we are at stage 8, waiting at Emden since Nov 19 for a ship, anticipated departure on Dec 10.

I now realize it's been a blessing that I didn't have TYD active since our order in May. Would have been obsessively checking for months for no reason lol.

I see you’re in the Northeast. My car has also been at Emden since 11/17 waiting on a ship. I suspect we’ll be on the same vessel so once your TYD updates kindly post here accordingly and I’ll do the same…

Looking forward to finally getting my May order delivered and end this waiting game.

Last time TYD updated for my car was "On vessel - SFL Conductor" Actual Nov 17.
TYD says entering port channel, port of Baltimore, port processing estimated Dec 24.
I called 1-800-porsche. Agent said she did not have any other dates, could not access TYD, was not aware of TYD update problems - checked with her team lead, created a case reporting this, and will get back to me in a couple of days.

Suggest that one way to raise awareness of TYD not updating is to make your own calls to Porsche NA. (Separately I have reached out to dealer, but a week ago dealer had same info as TYD.)

Edited: a much less time-consuming method to report the matter is to email details to [email protected]

Edited: Dealer says car is shown as at Baltimore port as of Dec. 3. "Estimated delivery to dealer" in Ohio of Dec. 10.

If you plan to charge your car at home, have you sorted out the power for the EVSE (the device which provides power to the car for charging)? This is the one item which needs to be planned and installed in advance of the arrival of your car.

While you can use a 'standard' 120v plug which might be in your garage, for faster charging you should have both a 240v plug and a 240v (level 2) EVSE installed within 15 to 20 ft of your car. The 240v plug is normally installed by an electrician. The 240v EVSE can be bought from a number of good companies.

Unless you plan to use public chargers in which case you don't need an EVSE.

This is something I’m currently working on. I found a company(Qmerit) that Tesla recommends. They gave me an automated quote of $799. I asked two other electricians and both made it seem like a big deal. I have solar, my house is new and plenty of room in the panel. My SA said I need a nema 14-20. Is that accurate?

SFL Conductor Baltimore folks - check TYD - mine moved forward to "port processing" overnight!

Still shows a bad date but my experience is the status changes, then a few days later the "actual date of milestone completion" pops in there after the fact.

Same here, was not updated this morning, but it is now. Same dates are you, even the completed entry port and entering channel are 12/24. Miles to dealer updated, 27 to go, so it's nice to know the car is in Baltimore.

Have to resist driving over there to see if I can find it....

My TYD has updated the same way, now.
I think @tbinmd should definitely stalk the port processing lot. Get some lot pics and post em here.

Edited: nice to see TYD map is no longer showing the car being transported overland from Houston to Ohio.

Today at 9am TYD was not updated. I get Porsche NA to open case about TYD not updating since Nov. 17. About 2 hours later, TYD is updated for SFL Conductor people. Hmm. Coincidence?
