Delayed again!

Placed my order on 12th May with an original August delivery, then advised last month it would be delayed until September and now today advised it’s been delayed until late October or November!

Anybody else had similar pain?

I switched from Tesla to Taycan as they couldn’t give a delivery date other than next year …..v frustrating!!

On the positive side you should now get a MY22 car (if not and you are facing a delay then insist on getting an October build (or later)).

Yes, my order was in February Dolomite Silver 4S, build date early June, delivery July. Now Porsche Guildford after my email to them have said that semiconductor delays are ongoing, likely build end July, delivery end August….I’m not optimistic.

I’m in the same boat…ordered in April, build was scheduled to complete mid July…then late July…then my allocation was cancelled.

Got a new allocation last week, build scheduled for completion early October but will be a MY22…just hoping they’ll bear the price increase!

I ordered end of April, initial delivery estimate was end of July. This then got moved out a number of times all the way to end of August. But now the car was completed ahead of the (delayed) schedule, and is sitting on the Grand Sapphire slowly making its way across the Atlantic.
Unclear whether it's going to be smooth sailing from now on, or whether we're going to have another "wait for chips at the port" scenario. If this is it in terms of delays, the final delivery would be ~2-3 weeks delayed from original estimate.

TLDR; They seem to have unblocked at least some of the production, and they seem to be able to pull in delayed dates a bit again.

I was in the same proverbial boat. I placed my order on December 8, 2020 and saw multiple delays. I finally took delivery a week ago today.

Good things come to those who wait and wait and wait...

Mate I ordered my 4S at the beginning of April from North London Porsche and I’ve still not had a build date. Keep telling me to expect late Q4. Feedback from Porsche is non-existent…
