Delivery Delays

Early Jan ‘22 order, supposed build in July. Not even had an allocation yet, and now been informed that leasing company will pass on all the price increases and to ping them a new Porsche code for them to produce a revised agreement.
Step 1 - try and remove £2k worth of extras
Step 2 - hope that RVs will be higher to absorb some of the increase
Step 3 - wait for them to say it will be a Q1 ‘23 delivery, best case
Step 4 - cancel and buy another V8 7 seater while the automotive world finds a way to get back to normal

Calling bs on that, go back to them and ask to speak to sales manager, that’s info easily shared.

Agreed. That is nonsense. I asked the question. 12th out of 30 with only 4 being delivered in 2022. 1 GTS ST per month which means ill see my car in August/September 2023 making it 20 months from order to delivery!

Only one a month? Jesus! I hope Porsche Leicester start getting more. They told me allocations are expected EOY, so if we work from 1 per month from say November, that would mean August 2023 - similar date to you.

Worst case October 2023...

Its an actual car! This is at the dealership. Currently trying to arrange pick up for Monday. Mess up with the leasing company means my private plate will have to go on later. No great shakes. Obvs without that green EV bit!! Getting excited now!

Very nice you must be like a kid in a sweet shop! Have not worked out in my head weather to have the green EV bit on my private reg when it goes on to match the Mamba Green!

Yes it's hard work being so close to getting it and not quite there yet. My lease company are being now annoyingly slow. Personally I'm not a fan of the green bit so I when I get my plate put on it won't have it.

Order March 22. Been told no further allocations will be received until December as they have had them all. Was No. 3 on the list for a CT allocation in May, and still am, and assume will still be in December 22...

I'm in US too - question for you all in UK, do you have access to Track Your Dream (TYD)? I've been monitoring this thread, and seems a number of UK people and some EU have reported the 12V battery fire related shortage causing a significant delay, but I don't think anyone in the US has got this notification. My dealer just reached out to me yesterday giving me an update that my car started production this week, but said nothing about 12V related delay

While the batteries should be the same in all cars across regions, I'm wondering if the US is actually affected by this delay. My TYD doesn't seem to reflect that at least. Perhaps the US has its own supplier it is able to access for cars once they reach stateside, but that's just a guess

And as for tracking your dream I fine it does not work very well...mine shows my car still be processed in Baltimore...but according to my dealer it is in route.

No.

It seems there should be more info than I get on the my Porsche page on the internet or app but maybe I have some security limit getting it.

The only info I have is 16/4/2022 “scheduled for production”.

I phoned the dealer towards the end of June and was told it should have gone into the body shop already but hadn’t and they didn’t know why and later a phone call from them to say it was in the body shop now but further delays due to component shortage.

Prepped and ready in the dealership! Paperwork being sorted. Hopefully ready to pick it up Wednesday! Exciting.
