I set up charging at home on a zappi to start at 0005 then stop at 0600. The charging starts as it should just after midnight but then stops as the app shows a departure for 3 days away. I delete the departure and the charging starts agin. About 10 minutes later another departure appears. Since I got the car 5 months ago I have never used the departure function as it used to charge successfully. Porsche UK still haven't replied to my questions on this.

Any thoughts?

I don't have a zappi, so not exactly sure how that works/integrates with the car. But, first thing to do is delete any timers you've got set up in the car's pcm. Likewise clear out any charging profiles you may have that are overriding what the zappi wants to do.

Not for Porsche to resolve I'm afraid as you aren't using their EVSE and substituted that for a Zappi.

Not sure of your setup but ensure that either the Zappi is controlling the charging session OR the PCM in the car - not both as this will give rise to conflicts in programming.

Clear down all programming on both devices and then attempt with Zappi only. If that doesn't work then clear down the Zappi and program via the PCM or My Porsche app.

Thanks for the comments. It’s just a bit confusing as I don’t have any instructions ( departures) on the pcm or the app. They just seem to appear when 10/20 minutes into the charge.

Sounds like you have the Zappi taking control.

What electricity provider and tariff do you have?

I think the issue is a conflict and like I mentioned before either Zappi or Porsche controlled programming - not both.

I flagged this up with Porsche GB centrally as the dealer was unsure about what was going on but said there was definitely an issue but couldn't sort it. I have just had a reply from Porsche GB saying the case has been forwarded to the 'Smart Mobility Team" with a Personal Case Manager appointed. Stand by for updates.
