Sadly it appears battery issues have been a common problem on these threads - I picked up my 2023 4S in July 27 last year (waited 8 months for it) and after driving it for 3 months the range started dropping - took it to the dealership and they said their diagnostics don’t show any problem - took it to another dealership 2 months later when the 100% range was now down further to 212km and again they had no data to tell them what to fix (I said the range display itself is data/proof). They also said don’t use heat or drive fast (hello, it’s a Porsche and how ridiculous to spend almost $200,000 on a car that you can’t use heat - in Canada!) Anyway, it wasn’t until my car stopped abruptly on the highway displaying critical battery error in the middle of an ice storm unable to even get onto the shoulder of the road with transport trucks almost taking me out - Porsche connect sent me a tow truck not a flat bed because there were none available! even after giving them the VIN to register my need for assistance - I finally had to make an appointment for a flatbed the next day and upon receipt of the vehicle, the dealer said I had bad cells - they would have to wait for parts from Germany and then it would be flatbedded to Montreal for repair which is the only place in Eastern Canada - got it back 3 weeks ago! over 5 months- I asked for a refund based on its failure 3 months in but they said no go - finally negotiated for a Panamera Hybrid because there is no way I would trust the repair completely - and think of the resale value with all the numerous battery issues I’ve been seeing on this and other threads - very sad - get rid of yours if you canFirst post on this forum and unfortunately it’s not a good one. I collected a 2023 GTS sport turismo at the start of July which was registered in Dec 23 but not been driven since so only had 12 miles on it when I collected it. I’ve done 500 miles since collection and already got the dreaded red circle electrical system fault so it was collected from my work and taken to Porsche to investigate. They’ve had it a week and all they know so far is that it needs the battery repaired or replaced and are now waiting for Porsche Germany to confirm when the parts will be available. The dilemma I have now is do I wait for the lengthy repair and hope the car doesn’t have anymore major problems or hand the car back and move onto something different? Has anyone else had this so early on into ownership?
