Do Taycans come with paper manuals etc?

because all mine came with was a billion page booklet for the Porsche charger which didn't even come with my car anyway!?.

anyone got a pdf copy of the important ones they could link me to/send me please?

yes there is a manual booklet. Just note, most of the contents related to PCM is then referenced to the online manual which works very well on keyword searches.

In the US (likely similar experience in UK), once you get the VIN approved (evidence of ownership) and added to your My Porsche account, you gain access to the online manual in the app. I would just use the app version for your situation. You can also buy a used manual on ebay.

The paper manual is, quite simply the worst car manual I have ever experienced. The online/app one is quite good though.
I would equate the written manual with the one you get with a cell phone.

lol great. my last 911 had a decent manual so I would have hoped it was much the same. I'll try to look on the app then (not got it verified etc yet). but accessing the "help" in-car is pretty unusable really

Yeah, the manual for the PMCC is like five one-inch books and several smaller ones. It's a six-inch stack. It's bigger than the PMCC itself. They should have spent that money on 8AWG wire, instead of the 10AWG they had to recall. The manual for the whole rest of the car is less than an inch thick.

since OP's booklet set appear incomplete, OP should search for the set on ebay to get a gauge of what other booklets are missing. Just note, these sets can vary based on region

The online/app one is quite good though.

hmm. Well it’s not too bad, but it has had lawyers all over it so each point is preceded by 100 safety warnings; things you look for in the index aren’t indexed; and the manual dumps every option in there regardless of whether you have them (an online manual could easily adapt itself to your specific vehicle). So ok for reference if you can guess Porsche’s terminology to find something but very poor for browsing through.

It’s about average in the industry, but Porsche should hold itself to a higher standard.

If you really want a paper copy there are loads listed on ebay (UK).

most Taycans come with digital manuals rather than a full paper booklet. Some owners find that having a downloadable PDF is more convenient since it's easier to update and access on multiple devices.
